Project Overview

The Problem

Students struggled to collaborate remotely, lacking a single platform that combined live discussions, organized study groups, and academic assessments in one place.

The Solution

I built StudyHub using Flutter and Firebase, integrating real-time audio/video conferencing with group chats and university-based study groups. The app allows students to join subject-specific rooms, communicate live, and participate in quizzes and tests to evaluate their learning.

Technical Challenges

Ensuring smooth real-time communication while supporting multiple users in a single study room, especially on unstable network connections, was a major technical challenge.

The Outcome

StudyHub enabled students to collaborate more effectively online, improving engagement and peer-to-peer learning while providing built-in tools for testing and progress tracking.
